Um einen Anfang zu finden starten wir mit Adam Ant ,den ich heute noch sehr verehre und jetzt wo ich älter bin und er wieder als Musiker aktiv ,auch desöfteren live in London erleben durfte
Adam Ant ist und war der Paradiesvogel der Zeit .ursprünglich aus dem Punk ,war die Band Adam and the ants später eher Neo Romantic Punk .Immerwieder gerne genannt mit Gruppen wie Visage

Adam Ant seine Style zu kopieren war mit in Deutschland Kaufbaren Sachen nicht wuírklich zu fianzieren .Erst sehr viel später kamen Eistüten Hosen und Netz Shirts in die In Boutiquen meiner Heimatstadt ,die eigentlich mit zu den Großstädten gehört.
Meine Großmutter war so nett mir das Nähen an der Nähmaschine bei zubringen ,so das ich in der Lage war den Style nach zunähen ..so ungefähr jedenfalls
in den 80igern gab es eine erhebliche Menge Handschriften Zeitungen oder Frauenzeitschriften mit Schnittmuster Specials .Daher werdet ihr hier überwiegend Deutsche Schnittmuster finden ,von denen man heutzutage die meisten im Internet als PDF runterladen kann .Ich werde die entsprechende Verlinkung einfügen
Den Stil den Adam Ant trug ( und noch trägt ) nennt man immer noch Highwayman Dandy Style und Pirate Style
In einem Interview hat er mal gesagt das er seine Kleidung aus Second Hand Shops und Theater und Opern Abverkäufen bezieht .

My grandmother was kind enough to teach me how to sew on the sewing machine so that I was able to sew up the style...that's kind of what it was anyway

Ich habe damals aus Kostengründen mich für den klassischen PiratStyle entschieden .
Deutschland ist ein Faschingsland .Jedes Jahr im Februar finden hier,vorallem ab Mitteldeutschalnd abwärts ,Karnevalsfeste und Aktivitäten statt ,so das man an die Stoffe in dieser Zeit und auch in der Zeit danach vorallem relativ billig kam .Faschingsseiden sind so ziemlich das fürchterlichste was man verarbeiten kann ,denn die meisten sind Plastik pur ,aber das interessierte mich mit 16 -17 nicht wirklich.
Da ich kein Geld für Schnitte hatte und auch nicht erfahren genug war meien eigenen zumachen ,ging ich in die grösste Bibliothek Bremens "Die Sögebibliothek" und sah mich beid en Handarbeiten um.Es gab dort damals die Burda zum Ausleihen ,einschliesslich aller Sonderhefte wie Fasching Spezial.
In den 80igern fand man dort zwar nur Ein-Grössen Schnitte vorrangig in den schmallen Grössen ,was mir ,die damals auch noch 34-36 trug ,sehr entgegen kam
Ausserdem fand ich einige Einzelschnitte auf dem Flohmarkt ,was in Norddeutschland bis heute eher selten ist ,da wir hier nach dem Kindergarten und der Schule nicht wirklich Karnevaliten sind .
