Die ersten Tage liefen noch ganz gut ,zum Ende ging mir das etwas das Bildmaterial aus ,was mich aber nicht abhielt weiter mit zugucken .

Etwas was mich echt beeindruckt hat waren die Matching Sets (Gibt es zu Set einen Deutschen Begriff? Paar??)

Erstaunlich wieviele Teile manche aus einem knappen Meter einer 20 cm breiten Spitze bekommen ,wenn man alle seine Schnippel und Reste mit einem guten Meter eines anderen Stoff paart.Viele nähen zu ihrem BH / Bralette zwei Slips in unterschiedlicher Form .Echt schick

The month of the Braugust Challenge, which almost everyone was looking forward to for months, including me.The first few days went pretty well, at the end I ran out of pictures, but that didn't stop me from watching.Something that really impressed me were the matching sets (is there a German term for a set? Pair ??).It's amazing how many pieces some can get from a meter of a 20 cm wide lace, if you pair all of your bits and pieces with a good meter of another fabric. Many sew two briefs in different shapes for their bra / bralette. Really chic

Ich habe die meisten meiner Teile aus Resten und/oder alten ,oder nicht getragenen ,oder nichts passenden Kleidungsstücken gemacht .Bei meiner erste Hyacinth Bralette habe ich vom Stoff nur ganz wenig Reste behalten und gerade dieser Stoff ,war mir unglaublich wichtig .Stammt er doch von dem Kleid,was meine Mutter mir Ende der 90iger schenkte.

Ich habe eine Menge Schnitte für Unterhosen und auch schon einige probiert .Mit mehr und minder Erfolg.Nur leider habe ich bei denen ,die passen ,keine Ahnung mehr welche Schnitte das waren ,da ich es 2019 noch nicht für erforderlich hielt ,das irgendwo festzuhalten .Also habe ich mir drei kaputte und ausgefranste Unterhosen aus meiner Schublade geschnappt und habe sie auseinander genommen mit Ziel den Schnitt abzunehmen.Danach habe ich dann jeden 3 mal aus schwarzem Jersey zugeschnitten und mit Resten aus diversen vorher gegangenen Projekten gesteckt.(Teaser:Hat nicht funktioniert)

I made most of my parts from leftovers and / or old, or not worn, or not fitting clothes. When I made my first Hyacinth Bralette, I only kept very little scraps of the fabric and this fabric in particular was incredibly important to me .because of the dress my mother buyed me in the late 90s.

I have a lot of pattern for underpants and have already tried a few, with more and less success, but unfortunately I no longer have a clue which pattern those were  that fit, because in 2019 I dont found it necessary to notice them anywhere .So I grabbed three broken and frayed underpants from my drawer and took them apart with the aim of redrafting the pattern. Then I cut each 3 times out of black jersey and stuck them with leftovers from various previous projects. (Teaser: Hat not working)

Für die graue Rosen Hyacinth Bralette passend hatte ich aus einem Powernetartigem Stoff einen Slip mit dem Acadia Schnitt von Megan Nielsen gemacht und brauchte nur noch den Stoff aufstecken.Da dieser Nylon extrem rutschig ist und die Düse meines Textilsprühklebers verstopft,habe ich mir mit einem Pritt Stift ausgeholfen .Diesen wurde an drei kleinen Stellen in der Mitte jeweils dünn aufgetragen und dann das ganze aufgesteckt.Beim Nähen sollte das ganze dann so fest sein ,das es nicht verrutscht und nach dem ersten Waschen der Kleber verschwunden.Normal benutze ich den Pritt Stift eher um Reissverschlüsse vor dem Einnähen zu befestigen .

For the gray rose Hyacinth Bralette I had made a slip with the Acadia pattern from Megan Nielsen ,out of a Powernet-like fabric and Ionly needed to attach the scraps. Since this nylon is extremely slippery and  the nozzle of my textile spray adhesive was cloged, I help myself out with a Pritt Pen . This was applied thinly in three small places in the middle and then the whole thing pinned on. When sewing, the whole thing should be so tight that it does not slip and the glue disappears after the first wash. I normally use the Pritt pen rather to fasten zippers before sewing them in.

Der untere leider nicht .Hier liegt es wohl an der nicht elatischen Blätterborte .Aber er ist auch zu flach .Da dies wirklich meine aller-,allerletzten Reste von diesem Stoff sind ,habe ich den Slip komplett zerschnitten ,die Borte abgetrennt und werde die restlichen Teile nun in einem anderen Slip einsetzen .

Unfortunately not the bottom one. Here it is probably due to the non-elastic leaf border. But it is also too flat. Since these are really my very, very last remnants of this material, I cut the slip completely, removed the border and will insert the rest scraps now on another slip.

Dann habe ich den ersten aus den Resten meines Vampir Stoffes von dem es bis jetzt eine Dárcy von Moods ,eine Barett und ein Kwik Sew Bustier gibt .

Das Problem mit dem Resten vom VampirStoff ist ,das man auf manchen Teilen nur durchgeschnittene Münder ,aber super Fledermäuse sieht .Auf anderen stehen die Münder auf dem Kopf oder aber ich habe sie schon ausgeschnitten ,meistens in Rund .Von daher habe ich versucht passenden Elemente für rechts ,links und hinten zu finden .Ergänzt wurde das dann mit einem Rest roter Spitze und rotem Picot Gummi an den Beinen,sowie ein breites Wäschegummi oben.

Leider ist dieser Slip viel zu eng und zu schmal.Er sitzt unterm Bauch und klemmt.Ich dachte erst es läge an der roten Spitze die nämlich nicht elastisch ist ,aber liegt es nicht .Lag am Schnitt den ich von einem RTW abgenommen habe.Schnitt wurde entsorgt .Slip auch .Wie gut das ich noch reichlich Reste habe .

Unfortunately, these briefs are much too tight and too narrow. They sit under the stomach and stick. At first I thought it was due to the red lace that is not elastic, but it is not. It was due to the pattern that I took off from an RTW Slip. Pattern was disposed. Slip also. How good that I still have plenty of leftovers.

Es folgt noch ein Slip passenden zu dem Sugar Skull Kwik Sew Bustier,wo ich einen breiteren Rest als Vorder und Rückteil verwendet habe.Oben ebenfalls Wäschegummi ,an den Beinen mein ebenfalls mein geliebtes Picot Gummi .

This is followed by a pair of panties that go with the Sugar Skull Kwik Sew Bustier, where I used a wider rest as the front and back, lingerie elastic on top and my beloved picot elastic on the legs.

Summar summarum ein 50/50 Erfolg.Ich bin noch am Überlegen ,ob ich den Acadia noch weiter verwende ,denn derweilen habe ich auch noch einen anderen besser passenden Schnitt gefunden und den RTW ein bisschen gehackt.Also breiter höher usw gemacht .Allerdings hab ich das Modell erst einmal verwendet ,und noch nicht zu Ende gebracht .

All in all a 50/50 success. I'm still considering whether to continue using the Acadia, because in the meantime I've found another better fitting pattern and hacked the RTW Patterna bit, so made it wider, higher, etc. However, I did used the model once, but not finished yet.

Es war einmal ..ein Stück Rest Jersey mit Drachenschuppen  Muster ...1x1,50

Den Stoff  habe ich schon vor einer Weile in der Ebay gefunden .Eigentlich zu wenig als das ich ihn ernstlich kaufen würde ,aber ich konnte aufgrund des Musters nicht wiederstehen.Für 1E und 1,50 E Porto einen überschaubae Investions ,die man am Anfang ruhig tätigen kann.Es kam ein wundervoll weicher ,ich nehme an ,Bamboo Jersey in einem wirklich schönen Drqchenschuppen Muster.Gut die Farben sind eher nicht meins ,aber da er eher nur selten das Licht der Welt erblicken wird ,wars okay.Das Stück war dann grösser als ich dachte ,so das ich sogar noch einen 2ten Slip und eine Bralette rausbekomme aus den Resten

Gefüttert habe ich den Sports Bra Innen mit einem rostroten Jersey ,der ein farblicher Fehlkauf war .

I found the fabric on Ebay a while ago. Actually too little for me to seriously buy, but I couldn't resist the pattern. For 1E and 1.50E postage a manageable investment, which you can easily get at the beginning It came out a wonderfully soft, I assume, bamboo jersey in a really nice drqchenschuppen pattern. Well, the colors are not really mine, but since it will rarely see the light of day, it was okay. The piece was then bigger than I thought, so that I can even get a second slip and a bralette out of the leftovers

I lined the inside of the Sports Bra with a rust-red jersey, which was a bad buy in color.

Es ist schon eine Weile her ,ich glaube drei Jahre ,da war ich beim 1.) Burlesque Festival in Hamburg.Ich htte lange überlgt ,was ich mir genau nähe und unterm Strich ist es dann was ganz anderes gewesen .Ich trug einen rechts und links offenen Rock mit rot schwarzem Muster.Darunter brauchte ich was bequemes und für mich komfortables .Ich fand in der Krabbelkiste bei Lidl Shorts ,sogenannte Boyfriend Shorts .Gut im Nachhinein waren es wirklich Männer Shorts ,aber ohne Eingriff.Jedenfalls habe ich mir den Schnitt davon abgenommen .Das Original ist aus einem sehr dehnbaren Material .

Ich habe den Schnitt schon einige Male genäht mit mehr oder weniger grossem Erfolg.Ich muss unbedingt den hinteren Teil erhöhen oder den Schritt nochmal nacharbeiten,denn bei einigen Stoffen ist er hinten doch etwas sehr knapp ,oder besser tief.

It's been a while, I think three years, when I was at the 1st Burlesque Festival in Hamburg. I had long considered what I was sewing and the bottom line was that it was something completely different. I was wearing one under my highsplitted skirt with red black pattern. I needed something comfortable  for myself. I found one in the crawling box at Lidl,so-called boyfriend shorts. In hindsight, they were really men's shorts, but without any intervention The original is made of a very stretchy material.

I've sewn the pattern a few times with more or less  success, so I definitely have to raise the back part or rework the crotch, because with some fabrics it is a bit scarce at the back, or rather deep.

Dieses Mal aber habe ich einen sehr dehnbaren weichen marmorierten Jersey gewählt .Gekauft auf dem Stoffmarkt Anfang des Jahres 2019,hatte ich zuerst einen Rock daraus genäht.

Der Stoff ist beim verarbeiten total zickig was Nadel,Garn und Fadenspannung betrifft .Auch dieses Mal war es nicht so einfach wie ich gerne gehabt hätte,aber nun ja .Eine frische Super Stretch Nadel machte es dann möglich .

The fabric is totally bitchy when it comes to needle, thread and thread tension. This time it wasn't as easy as I would have liked, but well. A fresh Super Stretch needle made it possible.

Ich muss auf alle Fälle den Schnitt hinten erhöhen und an den Beien noch begradigen .Ich habe in einem anderen Buch einen anderen Schnitt gefunden ,wo vorne in der Mitte dann die Naht ist ,was ich eigentlich nicht mag

Ich weiß nicht mehr wann oder wo ich diesen ersten Schnitt den Maddy Flanigan vom Label Madalynne in Philadelphia frei zu Verfügung gestellt hat .

Ich habe das Schnittmuster in meiner schier unendlich grossen Sammlung von freien Schnitten gefunden .

Wenn ich je alle Schnitte dieser Sammlung je mal nähen will ,bin ich wahrscheinlich in Rente bis ich das durch habe 

Ich habe den Schnitt in XL ausgeschnitten.Als Stoff habe ich einen sehr weichen Jersey mit einer 40 % Dehnung,aber der Schnitt ist eigentlich für Baumwolle ausgelegt .

Das Gummiband wird im Originalschnitt aussen angenäht.Ich habe es aber nach innen gemacht.

Es ist etwas schwierig ,die Mittelnaht und die Seitennähte zu indentifizeren ,so das ich erstmal alles falsch zusammen genäht habe .Im Originalschnitt sind die Nähte nicht bezeichnet ,aber man könnte sich nach der Fadenlauf Richtung orientieren ,wenn man nicht wie ich mit einem Muster arbeitet .

Durch die grossen Teile ist der Slip sehr voluminös und nicht zwingend etwas für Unter-die-Jeans.Vorallem ist mein Jersey nicht gerade dünn.Durch die massive Raffung passt der Schnitt natürlich super .

I found the pattern in my almost endless collection of free cuts.

If I ever want to sew all the cuts in this collection, I'm probably retired until I've gotten through that

I cut the cut in XL. As a fabric I have a very soft jersey with a 40% stretch, but the cut is actually designed for cotton.

The rubber band is sewn on the outside in the original cut, but I made it on the inside.

It is a little difficult to identify the center seam and the side seams, so I first sewed everything wrong together. In the original cut the seams are not marked, but you could orientate yourself in the direction of the thread if you do not work with a pattern like me .

Due to the large parts, the panties are very voluminous and not necessarily something for under-the-jeans, especially my jersey is not exactly thin.

Ich liebe die Hyacinth Bralette von Ohlulu .Gefunden habe ich sie durch Zufall als ich auf IG gelesen habe ,das Sarah den Schnitt kostenlos anbietet.

Der Schnitt geht bis 3XL ,aber von den Maßen nach sind die Cups für mich immernoch zu klein .Also habe ich sie wie immer vergrößert.Allerdings mache ich das für gewöhnlich für die ganzen Schnitteile ,das ich sie vergrößere ,was nicht immer nötig ist .

Der Stoff ist ein feste rChiffon Stoff ,mit einem sehr geringen Elastikanteil.Er ist leicht rauh ,daher musste ich ihn füttern.Ich habe leider vom Zuschnitt keine Bilder gemacht .Letztes Jahr war ich nicht so im Blogger Modus .Daher nur Tragebildern

I sewed the first version out of an old dress, which my mother gave me years ago. At that time I was still in size 38/40, a size that I will probably never get again. I love the fabric, but the dress was just too tight, which not only my mother thought was a shame,.This year she is 14 years dead.

I still remember it like yesterday when we bought the dress at the Orsay in Bremen, together with another black one, which is also in my upcycling box.

The fabric is a solid Chiffon fabric with a very small amount of elastic. It is slightly rough, so I had to lining it. Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the cut. Last year I was not in blogger mode. Therefore, only *Me Wearing*pictures

Die zweite Variante habe ich aus marmoriertem Jersey gemacht.Ein Rest ,der über geblieben ist nachdem ich die beiden Shorts zugeschnitten habe .Der Stoff ist im Gegensatz zu meinem ersten Versuch sher elastisch und weich ,Das heisst ich muss das Modell mit einem eben so elatisches Stoff füttern.Normalerweise verwende ich den gleichen Stoff auch von innen ,aber hier könnte das ein Nachteil sein .Ich brauch was elastisches ,aber festes .Ich werde meine Jersey Reste vorallem die Tshirt Reste mal durchgucken ,was ich da noch so bei habe ,ob da irgendwas passt.Selbiges gilt auch für die dritte Variante ,die ich schon zu geschnitten habe .

Der Stoff ist weich und obendrein noch sehr dünn.

The fabric, unlike my first attempt, is very elastic and soft, which means I have to use a Lining that is just as elastic as the fabric. I usually use the same fabric for the inside, but this could be a disadvantage here. I need something elastic but firm. I will look through my jersey leftovers, especially the leftovers, what I still have with me, whether because something fits. The same applies to the third variant, which I have already cut.

Ich entdeckte den Schnitt ebenfalls bei meiner Suche nach geeigneten Bralette Schnitten für Grosse Brüste und /oder Plus Size geeigente Schnitte

Wenn man den Schnitt sucht,kommt man auf die Seite von Gina &George .Man muss sich in der FB Gruppe anmelden und dann kann man den Schnitt runterladen ,wenn man freigegeben wird

Ich habe den Schnitt in 2 XL ausgeschnitten .Die Stoffempfehlung ist ein elastischer Stoff ,in meinem Fall habe ich einen Mini Rest eines grünen Pannesamtes mit Schlangenmuster gewählt-Das Brustband vorne nund hinten besteht aus Jersey und Tshirt Resten .

Aus selbigem Stoff habe ich vor Jahren mal eine Kimonoartige Jacke nach einem Schnitt von Burda genäht

Eins meiner Ziele für dieses Jahr ist ja auch für meine Lingerie Sachen meine unzähligen Kilo an Stoffresten zu verarbeiten und eigentlich keinen neuen Stoff zu kaufen ,was ich allerdings noch nicht geschafft habe .

I cut out the pattern in 2 XL. The fabric recommendation is an elastic fabric, in my case I chose a mini rest of a green crush velvet with a snake pattern.

                                       

Years ago I made a kimono-like jacket  from Burda using the same fabric

 One of my goals for this year is to process my countless kilos of leftover fabric for my lingerie stuff and actually not buy any new fabric, which I have not yet managed to do.

Der Schnitt erschloss sich mir beim Nähen nicht so ganz ,da die Brustschnittteile jeweils mit 3 Abnähern versehen sind .Das Unterbrustband wird doppelt gearbeitet und dann nochmal umgelegt ,so das ich vorne den Stoff dann 4 fach habe.Das wäre dann schon mal der erste Änderungspunkt beim Nächsten Mal .Das Rückenband wird normal im Bruch geschnitten ,das habe ich aus Stoffgründen nicht .Zumal ich mir nicht sicher bin ,ob ich nicht doch noch einen Verschluss einarbeite .Die Brustteile habe ich nicht extra gefüttert ,wegen der Abnäher .Das ist dann immer etwas schwierig ,es sein denn man arbeitet das als ein Stoff.Ich muss mal gucken wie die sitzen ,evtl fütter ich die noch nach .

Normal werden die Träger aus demselben Stoff wie die Bralette gearbeitet. Ich werde hier mit einem stabilen breiten Trägerband arbeiten ,was bei dem Gewicht meiner Brüste bei so elastischem Material einfach mehr Halt gibt

Stoffverbrauch :50-75 cm alles in allem

Fazit : Man sollte den Schnitt nicht gerade aus Pannesamt mit Schlangenstoff arbeiten .Denn,wie man sieht ,wirkt das ein wenig komisch .Irgendwie ist das nicht ganz gleichmässig ,das Muster .Ansonsten gefällt mir die Bralette von der Höhe ganz gut.Die Cups decken genug von der Brust ab ,was bei der Grösse meiner Brüste nicht gerade einfach ist .Ich habe feste BH Träger genommen ,die sogar noch verstellbar sind.Eine weitere habe ich gerade aus lila Pannesamt zu geschnitten .Vielleicht wird es noch eine aus festem Stoff geben .

The Pattern did not open up completely to me when sewing, since the breast pattern parts are each provided with 3 darts. The underbust band is worked twice and then folded over again so that I then have the fabric 4 times. That would be the first change point next time. The backband will be cut on fold normally, what i couldnt do ,because of my Fabric rest. Especially since I am not sure if I should  include a closure. I did not lining the chest parts because of the darts Always a little difficult ,if you not work it as one Piece for both Fabrics

The straps are usually made of the same material as the bralette. I will work here with a stable, wider tape, which simply gives more support given the weight of my breasts with such an elastic material

Conclusion: You shouldn't work the pattern from crush velvet with snake fabric, because, as you can see, it looks a bit strange. The cups cover enough from the breast/bust, which is not exactly easy with the size of my breasts. I took firm bra straps that are even adjustable. I just cut another one out of purple velvet. Maybe there will be one made of solid fabric .
