Old School Goth Sewing Pattern Simplicity *Begotten *

Es gibt da einen Blogbeitrag ,der mir schon eine Weile im Gedanken rumschwirrt .Inspiriert wurde er durch die Tatsache ,das es nur wenig Nähende Gothics mit Blog gibt ( oder vielleicht kenne ich auch nur deren Blogs nicht ,vorallem hier in Deutschland) und die Frage ,was kann ich machen oder welche Schnitte sind geeignet .Als ich Ende der 90iger wieder mit dem Nähen anfing ,gab es auf dem Deutschen Schnittmuster Markt nur wenig ,was sich für den Gothic Bereich eignete .Damals gab es  noch das Natron und Soda Forum ,,wo eine Vielzahl von Schnitten von uns Privatpersonen entworfen und bereitgestellt wurde.Die Schnittmuster Seite wurde gerade eingestellt ,aus Mangels Pflege und Zeit .Geblieben ist das Nähkromanten Forum .
Dank des Internets war es schon möglich auf Amerikanische Schnitte auszuweichen ,allerdings war die Bezahlung eher Schwierig .Ich lebte zu dem Zeitpunkt in Frankfurt am Main und kannte einige Amerikaner,die dort bzw in Hanau stationiert waren und mir häufig Schnitte aus den USA mitbrachten und sie mir von ihren Familien schicken liessen .Oder ich habe die Verkäufer angeschrieben ,ihnen das Geld vorab geschickt( Oder von entsprechenden US Freunden überweisen lassen ) und sie mir die Schnittmuster ,die ich in der Ebay.com ersteigert habe .Witzig ,oder ??  Wieviel Vertrauen man auch hatte Okay ,es waren jetzt keine grösseren Beträge ,aber dennoch .
Ich möchte hier nun eine Auswahl ,der Schnittmuster zeigen ,die ich verwendet habe .
Die Schnitte sind heute alle Out Of Print ,also werden nicht mehr gedruckt ,aber man bekommt sie noch in der Ebay oder bei Etsy ,allerdings zu Preisen ,die manchmal weit entfernt von gut und böse sind .Einige werde in neuer Version von den Big 4 nachgedruckt .
Da dies aber recht viele sind ,habe ich sie auf verschiedene Post aufgeteilt und nach Gothic , Medieval Gothic,Alltags und Abend Kleidung

There is a blog post that has been buzzing around my head for a while, inspired by the fact that there is little communitywith  gothics ,who sew and also have a  blog (or maybe I just don't know their blogs, especially here in Germany). There is the question , which pattern are suitable for Goth Style. When I started sewing again in the late 90s, there wasnt much on the German sewing pattern market that was suitable for Gothic. At that time, there was still the Natron and Soda forum, , where a large number of Pattern were designed and provided by  private individuals. The sewing pattern page has just been discontinued due to lack of care and time. The sewing forum has remained.

Thanks to the internet, it was already possible to switch to American Pattern, but the payment was rather difficult. I was living in Frankfurt am Main at the time and knew some Americans ,who were stationed there or in Hanau, and who often brought me Pattern from the USA and they had  sent to me by their families. Or I wrote to the sellers, sent them the money in advance (or had them transferred by  US friends) and they send me the patterns that I bought at Ebay.com. Funny, right? 
I would now like to show you a selection of the sewing patterns that I used.
The cuts are all out of print today, but you can still get them on Ebay or on Etsy, but to prices that are sometimes far from good and bad. Some will be reprinted in a new version of the Big 4 
But  there are quite a few, so I have divided them into different Post about Gothic, Medieval Gothic, Everyday and Evening clothes

For the Start I choose The Begotten Series by Simplicity

Alle diese Schnittmuster sind in der Jahren 1999 /2000 erschienen .Ich hatte sie alle in meiner Sammlung ,habe aber nie eins davon genäht .Als ich dann in meine zweite Gothic Off Phase gekommen und dann fast nur noch Mittelalter genäht habe ,habe ich eine Vielzahl meiner Schnitte verkauft.Nebenbei waren sie häufig in der Grösse bis 12 und durch meine Krankheit hätte ich in diese Schnitte nicht mehr reingespasst .Ich hätte sie alle samt sehr ändern müssen

All of these patterns appeared in 1999/2000, I had them all in my collection, but never sewed any of them, so when I got into my second Gothic Off phase and sewed almost only the Middle Ages, I had a lot my cuts were sold, besides, they were often up to 12 and because of my illness I would not have fit in these cuts anymore. I would have had to change them all very much

Empfohlene Stoffe sind elastische Stoffe .Auch hier habe ich in der Anleitung keine Angaben zur Elastizität des Stoffes gefunen .

Ich habe wieder diverse Tshirt und Jersey Reste genommen ,da ieser Slip eigentlich zu er Lovesick Bralette passen sollte.

Ein wenig irritiert hat mich die gekurvte Form des hinteren Beinausschnitts Und ich habe die Seiten etwas verbreitert.

Die Verarbeitung war einfach ,ich wollte VORNE die allerletzten Reste meines Schlangen Pannesamt benutzen.Vorne....

I last saw Laura @speckyseamstress, Laura Figure  is very similar to mine. Laura sewed a size 14. Me too,You see her Review of the Pattern on her You Tube Channel

Recommended fabrics are elastic fabrics.  I did not find any information about the elasticity of the fabric in the instructions.

I have  taken various t-shirt and jersey remnants because these briefs should actually go with the Lovesick Bralette.

I was a little irritated by the curved shape of the back piece, and I widened the sides a bit.

The processing was easy, I wanted to use the very last remnants of my snake crush velvet in front ...

So much in advance .... The size fits great

Ich habe allerdings die Reste fälschlicherweise hinten aufgenäht .Sieht toll aus ,aber war so nicht gedacht .Jetzt ich wohl vorne mit Spitze arbeiten ,um das auszugleichen,denn das waren die absolut letzten Reste.

Und leider kann ich das auch nicht drehen.Notiz an mich ...Schnitteile besser beschriften,dann passiert das nicht nochmal .

Ich hab jetzt alle Gummis angenäht und beim anprobieren habe ich festgestellt das es der Schnitt perfekt sitzt .

Ich bin aus verschiedenen Gründen eigentlich kein Fan von Tragebildern ,und meine sind weit entfernt von gut .Ich hab mein Stativ noch nicht wieder gefunden habe und es draussen noch zu kalt ist für Outdoor Bilder ,daher müsst ihr jetzt mit diesen eher so lala Bildern leben

Because ... I falsely sewn it on the back. Looks great, but was not meant to be. Now I probably work with lace in the front to make up for it, because those were the last remnants.

And unfortunately I can't turn that either. Note to me ... label the pattern parts better, then it won't happen again.

I have now sewn on all the rubbers and when trying it on I found that the pattern fits perfectly.

I'm actually not a fan of  pictures from myself  for various reasons, and mine are far from good. I haven't found my tripod yet and it is still too cold outside for outdoor pictures, so you have to live with these rather so-so pictures now
